From its beautiful beaches to its young, hip arts scene, this city is the perfect mix of vacation vibe and city culture. Over the last couple of years we've stopped through St. Petersburg a few times and have found a few gems of places that we'd recommend visiting and have assembled here in this blogpost for you!

St. Petersburg has so much good food! I can't stress that enough. While there are seemingly endless options, we've assembled a list for you here of our favorite discoveries thus far.
Bandit Coffee Co. - Neighborhood coffee and espresso shop with plenty of seating and friendly baristas.
Intermezzo Coffee & Cocktails - Coffee, espresso, cocktails, and small plates served in a beautiful, natural light filled space.
Casita Taqueria - tacos tacos tacos! With multiple locations around town, this is a taco staple in the St. Pete area.
The Library - coffee bar Monday-Friday; brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert, and drinks 7 days a week
Rollbotto - fast casual make your-own-sushi
Mazzaro’s Italian Market - Italian market featuring everything from pasta and espresso to wine and cheese and sandwiches and gelato. Authentic, unique experience with top notch food!
URBAN Brew and BBQ - Local BBQ joint serving an extensive menu including lots of craft cocktails.
Green Bench Brewing Company - Local brewery conveniently located in the heat of St. Petersburg.
Did you know St. Petersburg, Florida has a thriving art scene? From top notch museums to incredible street art, this place is bursting with creativity. But there's more than art! St. Pete has beaches, shopping, and outdoor activities aplenty, too!
The Dali (Salvador Dali Museum) - Art museum known for its extensive collection of surrealist art by Salvador Dali.
Murals - St. Petersburg has lots of great street art spread all across the city, but for an easier tour we'd recommend taking a walk down Central Avenue to see some of the most iconic ones in one easy place.
St. Petersburg Beach - Closest beach to the city of St. Petersburg. Beautiful white sands and clear water, perfect for watching a sunset.
Honeymoon Island State Park - This park is actually closer to Clearwater than it is St. Pete, but for a short drive this park is well worth the $8 per car admission fee, especially if you are traveling with a dog. This park has the best dog friendly beach we've ever been to and it's "people only" beaches are much quieter than the free public beaches in town.
