Bryson City, North Carolina is a relatively sleepy small, southern town. While the population is small and the atmosphere relaxed, that doesn't mean that there are a lot of things to see and do in the area! Bryson City is loaded up with amazing places to checkout, you just need to keep in mind that the town recognizes that many of the tourists that visit the area are there at the end of the week and into the weekend.
Visitors planning a trip to Bryson City should carefully note the hours of the restaurants and attractions they're hoping to visit while in the area because the hours can be a little be sparse. Many restaurants are closed on Sunday and a lot of places are completely closed or have limited hours earlier in the week.
My best piece of advice would be to always double check the hours when planning your trip and make sure that the places you most want to visit are open the days and times you intend to visit.
