Looking at The Springs Resort & Spa from the adults only Relaxation Terrace

Relaxation terrace package

When we visited The Springs Resort & Spa we opted to splurge for the relaxation terrace package so we could get the most of our one day experience in the hot springs. While this ticket is double in cost than that of the general admission pass, the relaxation terrace package offers a few perks that sold us: re-entry into the hot springs, use of the five exclusive adult only pools on the Relaxation Terrace, plus a robe and locker included in the cost.

The selling point for us was the re-entry option. Since we travel with our dog we knew we'd either only be able to stay for a few hours in the hot springs or we'd need re-entry to check in on him. While the re-entry was what we were after, we ended up most enjoying the five exclusive adult only pools. These pools were much quieter than the 20 general admission pools which gave us a more relaxed experience.

Adults: $135

Children: Only ages 18 and older are allowed to book this package

Hotel and spa guest

Guests who are staying at the The Springs Resort & Spa will receive 24/7 access to the 20 hot springs pools. Guests who book a spa appointment at the on-site spa will receive general admission with their spa appointment.

Personally, we think booking a hotel stay and/or a spa appointment is the way to go! If we had had longer in Pagosa Springs we'd 100% have waited for massage availability to open up to get the most bang for our buck! The hotel rooms look lovely, but we were camping in our truck camper so we didn't need accommodations on this trip. It's worth mentioning for those who will need somewhere to stay though!

What our experience was like at The Springs Resort & Spa

We had a chance to visit The Springs Resort & Spa on a Friday in February 2024 and had an absolutely wonderful time! When we arrived in Pagosa Springs we had just spent the last few days driving our truck camper from Tennessee to Colorado and by the time we reached the hot springs we were stiff and sore and desperately needed to relax and refresh.

We decided to purchase the Relaxation Terrace Package which gave us in and out privileges to the springs for the day. For us that looked like relaxing in the hot springs then leaving for a meal and walk the dog, then return to the springs in the evening for the perfect end-of-day wind down.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Springs! The facilities were wonderful, the staff attentive and friendly, and overall we felt we got our money's worth with the ability to come and go as we so pleased. I will say that we were really glad we had access to the five pools that were for adults only. Far fewer people purchased these VIP tickets instead of the general admission and it was nice to be able to tuck away in a quieter pool with far fewer people.

We were rpleasently surprised by how light the crowds were during the day since Pagosa Springs is a ski town and it was a beautiful Colorado weekend. During the day the crowds were light but then the springs filled up as the evening went on and people flocked to town for a weekend full of skiing and soaking. As a whole the crowds were very manageable and we could always find a pool with a temp to our liking to soak in.
